Config Notes
| Install: Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 not detected during install. It necessary to install a driver kit from http://forgeftp.novell.com/hp/HP-Compaq-6520s/sle10-sp1/install-readme.html for the video to function. Wireless LAN not tested due to lack of driver availability for Intel 4965 Wireless NIC. Suspend to disk: Hotkey not supported, but Hibernate from the Power system tray icon and "powersave -U" both work without Desktop Effects enabled. Using the hibernate feature from the system tray required a network service restart after restoring. Suspend to RAM: Hotkey not supported, but Sleep from the Power system tray icon and "powersave -u" both work, without Desktop Effects enabled, after setting /etc/powersave/sleep: SUSPEND2RAM_FORCE:"yes", SUSPEND2RAM_VBE_MODE:"yes", and SUSPEND2RAM_VBE_POST:"yes." Suspend to Disk with Desktop Effects Enabled: Neither Suspend to disk nor Suspend to RAM work while Desktop Effects are enabled. |
