Config Notes
| ACPI Bus Segmentation and HPET had to be Disabled under Advanced > Chipset/Memory in the ROM-based Setup for the LSI SAS1068e Host Bus Adapter to function. It was necessary to download and install the latest nVidia driver to pass the video tests: http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html. Enable desktop effects manually by running the command "gnome-xgl-switch --enable-xgl", see http://en.opensuse.org/Using_Xgl_on_SUSE_Linux for more details. Logout and Log back in after enabling desktop effects. |
