Product Description
The Magnitude 3D™ family applies the proven benefits of clustered computing to storage area networks (SANs), providing solutions that are easy to use and deliver unmatched uptime. A Magnitude 3D system includes one or more Dimensional Controller Nodes (DCNs), drive bays, and a web-based management platform called ICON (Intelligent CONtrol). ICON makes managing single or multiple Magnitude 3D systems quick and easy-storage is easily configured, updated, and managed on-the-fly to meet changing needs without business disruption. Storage clustering and sophisticated data replication keep data safe and highly available. Magnitude 3D 3000 incorporates the ease of management and resilience of the Magnitude 3D family, while providing faster performance, enhanced scalability, and cache capability. It is an open-systems controller that will integrate seamlessly into the IT infrastructure-and controllers can be upgraded hot and on-the-fly without business disruption.
