Product Description
The Intel Server Platforms SR6850HW4M and SR4850HW4M support up to four Dual-Core Intel Xeon Processors 7000 Sequence or four 64-bit Intel Xeon Processors MP with up to 8MB L3 cache and incorporate features the clearly differentiate them as high availability server platforms. Building on previous server platforms, the Intel Server Platforms SR6850HW4M and SR4850HW4M introduce redundant memory and networking in addition to the enterprise features of hot-swap power, cooling, PCI slots, and hard disk drives. Advanced server management features are also included to remotely monitor and manage the server. Finally, the server has two optional mass storage expansion features.
