Product Description
The Unisys Real-Time Enterprise Server ES7000/600 is a scalable system for IT executives looking to leverage the benefits of Intel standardization into the data center. Based on a 19-inch rack-mount cell design, the ES7000/600 is a scalable alternative to conventional 32-bit Intel based servers. The ES7000/600 series server, with the flexibility to support both 32-bit and 64-bit applications, is ideal for application consolidation and large-scale, high-performance databases. Take advantage of its scaling capabilities to harness the full power of Linux-based processing. All ES7000 systems are delivered with Unisys Server Sentinel self-monitoring and self-healing management software for autonomic computing.

Config Notes
| During the installation, the kernel parameter pnpbios=off must be configured to run with the smp kernel The installation selects the default kernel. As part of the installation , the smp kernel must be selected and the default kernel deselected Unisys provides the driver for the Adaptec-48300 SAS device. The driver is included on the Unisys system CD and available on the Unisys website. |
