Product Description
The Intel® Server SE7520JR2SCSID2-SR2400 supports two Intel® Xeon™ processors with 1MB of cache using a Socket 604 INT3/FCPGA package. The server board is designed around the Intel® E7520 chipset which provides support for an 800MHz front side bus. A reliable, high-capacity memory subsystem is provided with support for six dual-channel Registered Error-Correcting Code (ECC) DIMM sockets that support DDR-266 or DDR-333 Registered ECC DIMMs. The Intel® chipset E7520 is the first chipset to support PCI-Express technology. The Intel® Server is designed to support the high density server market and utilizes Intel® Adaptive Slot Technology providing riser card support for both PCI-X and PCI-Express technologies. Integrated PCI devices include an Intel® 82546GB (10/100/1000) Gigabit Ethernet controller, ATI Rage* XL video controller with 8 MB of video memory and LSI 53C1030 dual channel SCSI controller. The Intel® E7520 chipset also provides support for both SATA drive and USB 2.0 controllers. A National Semiconductor* PC87427 Super I/O Device is used to support two serial ports, floppy drive, mouse, and keyboard. *Other brands and names may be claimed as the property of others.
