SLES 7 Certified for: Kernel 2.4.18 + Patch-CD2 Kernel 2.4.18 + Patch-CD3 The megaraid module is not loaded automaticly by YaST2. Possible solution: choose manual installalation, load the module manually and continue with YaST2. Obligatory: use bcm5700 update-driver-disk from our Maintenance Web if you need to install via the network card. After the installation of Patch CD2/CD3: make sure that the "alias ethx" lines in /etc/modules.conf points to the bcm5700 module. Boot config needs to be installed manually.
SLES 8 / SLES 8 SP2 NEEDED: kernel boot parameter "acpi=oldboot".
SLES 8 - SP3 Boot medium for initial installation: United Linux 1.0 SP3 (RC4) CD.
SL Standard Server 8 - SP3 Boot medium for initial installation: United Linux 1.0 SP3 (RC4) CD. NEEDED: kernel boot parameter "acpi=oldboot".
