Product Description
Sun StorEdge 3300 RAID systems are compact, rack-optimized RAID storage solutions for direct-attached storage (DAS) architectures. Sun StorEdge 3300 features: single or dual RAID controllers or JBOD; 12 disk drive bays; 5 or 12 disk drives; dual power supplies; 2 host ports; 2U (3.5 inches high) enclosure. With 2 Ultra160 SCSI host connections, Sun StorEdge 3300 delivers sustained data transfer rates up to 210MB per second and up to 40,000 I/Os per second. It provides industry leading 99.9998+ percent uptime and redundant, hot-swappable components including drives, controllers, power supplies, fans, event monitoring units and battery-backed cache memory to prevent data loss.
