| Product Description |
| The Realtek RTL8169 is a high-performance PCI Gigabit Ethernet media access controller. It fully complies with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3z and 802.3ab specifications, supporting 10/100/1000Mb/s data transmissions at an MII/GMII, and 1000Mb/s fiber transmission at a TBI. 10/100/1000Mb/s N-way auto-negotiation support is also provided. The new chip is able to reduce CPU utilization and greatly heighten system performance, providing a good solution for design of PC and server adapters. The RTL8169 is embedded with a 33/66MHz, 32/64-bit PCI v2.2 bus interface for host communications with power management-which features an ACPI management function to provide efficient power management for advanced operating systems with OSPM. |
