| Backup Express is an enterprise-wide data backup and restore solution that provides ease of use and support for a broad range of technologies and platforms. It can dynamically share tape library drives across all platforms at the same time in the same SAN under the control of a single catalog easing administrative headaches. Support for NAS, NDMP, SANS, and clusters is managed through the intuitive GUI which also allows you to configure your enterprise for lights out operations. The GUI also simplifies the restore process so end users can do their own without any administrative input. Backup Express' distributed architecture and broad platform support in the LAN and/or SAN of NetWare, UNIX, Linux and Windows ensures easy scalability. Cluster support ensures that your data is protected, and with dynamic drive allocation in a SAN and support for the latest tape technologies including LTO and AIT-3, Backup Express provides some of the fastest backups and restores possible. SSDMDD.NLM is a tape to tape utility and was not tested as part of the certification process. | |
