| FDR/Upstream is a storage management solution for corporate data distributed across a heterogeneous network. FDR/Upstream provides enterprise-wide storage management for Novell, Windows, Linux or UNIX servers and workstations to z/OS or OS/390 MVS mainframes. Upstream provides backup/restore, file transfer, file migration HSM archival with Auto Recall, and disaster recovery vaulting with centrally administered profile policy management. FDR/UPSTREAM operates directly from the server it's backing up as an" NLM" (NetWare Loadable Module) with JAVA management interface or from a Windows or OS/2 workstation. Novell awareness includes NDS, SMS, name spaces, compressed data, and security attributes are all supported. FDR/Upstream, mainframe solution for NetWare shops provides non-disruptive online database agents including GroupWise support.
