| Using Axis Communications 'ThinServer' technology, the AXIS StorPoint CD Network CD-ROM Server offers a high-performance solution for users to share CD-ROMs, DVDs, and ZIP drives on a network. The server can be used simultaeously from NetWare, Windows,OS/2, UNIX and Intranet/Intranet. It supports NetWare NCPover IPX (and IP in NetWare/IP environment) with native support for NDS, SMB (over NetBEUI and TCP/IP), NFS over UDP/IP and HTTP. The server can be used as a Web Server and can be configured and monitored using any standard Web browser. AXIS ThinWizard, A Java-based management tool, or the AXIS WinPoint utility which locates StorPoint devices on the Network and allows you to manage themwith WinPoint's Windows configurations tool. The Java-based HTTP embedded Quick InstallationWizard is also useful and easy to use for NetWare NDS installation of the AXIS StorPoint CD devices. The StorPoint CD Comes pre-installed with all the network functionality required. StorPiont Disco is available to be used for both SMB and IPX clients. | |
