Product Description
The ETERNUS LT60 is an ultra compact LTO tape library with up to 48 media slots and up to four drives on four height units. The new ETERNUS LT60 systems are connected via SAS, FibreChannel or SCSI interface to the server. The ETERNUS LT60 magnetic tape systems family is optimized for low power consumption, the use of environmentally friendly materials, as well as high and easy scalability. The ETERNUS LT60 is equipped with LTO technology, which is synonymous with high capacity, high speed and very low media costs. The tape library offers a storage capacity of 76.8 TB (LTO4 compressed) in just four height units. The base configuration includes 24 slots. Because all 48 slots are already built in the other 24 slots can be easily activated via a software license. The new ETERNUS LT60 systems support either one or up to four LTO3 HH (half height) or LTO4 HH drives with SAS, FibreChannel or SCSI interface.
