Because a lot of people always ask what to do with the drivers from forge.
A quite good step by step guide on how to open up the linux.2 file can be found at http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/zenworks/features/tips/t_intel_cards_set_zw.html
You will also find other documents on coolsolution for other bootmedia.
The drivers should go to /lib/modules/2.4.28/kernel/drivers/net where 2.4.28 stands for the kernelversion you have...
uname -v gives you that version.
