This is a research project aiming at developing a flexible framework capable of handling standalone applications and server-client ones with minimal or no modifications. The first part of the project consists is designing and implementing a Python powered framework as, a backend, that handles: database access, object relational mapping, bussiness logic, data security; and various clients: a desktop Delphi client and a web based Python powered client. Given the fact that this is a thin client approach the list of platforms and languages used for client implementations can be easily extended.

The second part of the project aims at implementing a XUL client in order to test and improve the framework to be truly platform/language independent.
