ABSTRACT:

GWXls1 is an Microsoft Excel spread sheet that illustrates the use of Excel with Novell's GroupWise Object APIs.

It allows you to use the Novell Object APIs to access information about your own account and call the find method for the System Address book. Basically all Object API features can be used from a VB script/macro in MS applications.

Specifically, this sample ... ... reads GW information about yourself, ... scans the available fields of your GW user account ... scans the address book for a give email address

To run the application, you must have these software components installed: Excel (with Macros enabled) Novell GroupWise Client v5.x

The GroupWise Object APIs are implemented in the GW client, so not additional libraries or SDKs are required to develop GW applications. The documentation can be downloaded from the DeveloperNet web pages at http://developer.novell.com
