TID100956 (ISOR001) - fdopen() fails with BSD Socket

From Developer Community

ABSTRACT:

With modular CLIB for 4_X (LIBUP9.EXE), when calling fdopen() with a BSD socket only "r" and this with combinations of b and t work.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

With modular CLIB for 4_X (LIBUP9.EXE), when calling fdopen() with a BSD socket only "r" and this with combinations of b and t work.

When performing fdopen() with a BSD socket and Monolithic CLIB 410h (LIBUP8.EXE) all modes will succeed; "r", "w", "a", and these with combinations of b and t.

With modular CLIB for 4_X (LIBUP9.EXE), this is NOT the case when a file has been opened on a NetWare volume.

This problem will be fixed in LIBUPA.EXE with CLIB.NLM dated later than 10-10-96.
