Problems when installing GroupWise 5 from a Windows 3.11 workstation and the install is unable to detect the Netware Tree you are logged into.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

If you are installing GroupWise 5 from a Windows 3.11 workstation and the install is unable to detect the Netware Tree you are logged into then note the following: You must use Netware 32 client for DOS/Windows to successfully install GroupWise 5 from a DOS/Windows client.

The Netware 32 client for DOS/Windows file name is: dw32n1.exe. This file can be found on the web at: http://support.novell.com/Ftp/Updates/nwos/cl32dw21/Date0.html

Note: installing from Win95 must be done with Netware 32 for Windows 95.
