LDAP directories
Squid LDAP Auth, has been tested against Novell eDirectory 8.5 (85.12 ->), 8.6.2 and 8.7 running on Linux and Netware.
Also it is know to work with Microsoft Active Directory, but this has not been tested by me.
I do not help with setting up eDirectory, either contact Novell, or ask in the support forums (http://support.novell.com/forums/)
Dependencies
You need to get the OpenLDAP libraries from http://www.openldap.org, or the Novell LDAP C Libraries for Linux, http://developer.novell.com.
I do not provide installation support for either of the above.
Platforms
It has been tested, and compiled on - Redhat 7.1, 7.2, 8.0 9.0 - Fedora Core 1 - Slackware 8.0 - Debian Woody (3.0) - Gentoo 1.4 R1 - SuSE 8.2 - Solaris 8.0 (not by me)
