The SUSE Meta PPP Daemon manages Dial-Up connections on behalf of the user. It supports

• ISDN, Modem and DSL connections
• manual dialing
• dial on demand
• multiple providers
• ISDN channel bundling
• PPP over ATM, PPTP, PPPOE for DSL
• accounting of time and traffic
• remote control over the network

There is a command line tool and a KDE applet to control smpppd
