To day 95% percent work in coperates/home is reading/editing office docs, browsing,chatting, IM and sharing/collabrating with team/family members while most of activity can be done withinin browser but we need to use MS office or Open office to edit documents, which means thier installation and support on local systen and are tied to partcular platform.User oftens get confused when using a different platform like linux. OneOffice-WebOffice allows to all kind of work right from browser and provides a platform independant solution.....All work can be done directly from browser without opening any external app, more ever it has virtual office on web by using a groupware system such novell groupwise or phpgroupware or any groupware (using groupware connector), starting the browser automatically take u to your virtual weboffice(a groupware system) , and using OpenOffice plugings it can edit all docs withinn browser.Browser also has custom tool bars such virtual office tool bar (like yahoo tool bar) and UI components which provide interface to groupware fuctions and a messenger client.All you have to do is download Virtual-Office bwoser client and specify your Web-office and you can access your work anywhere in world from any OS platform. OO-WO will develop following OpenOffice plugins for mozilla,XML_RPC conectors to Groupware, UI components for browser
