For NetWare® 5 and Netware 6, the standard in printing technology on Novell networks is Novell Distributed Print Services® (NDPS®).
NDPS Libraries for C provides the APIs to implement and manage print service managers, printer agents, and brokers for various system services. See NDPS Classes for Java for the Java* implementation of NDPS. Gateway Development Kit is used for the development of NLM gateways which communicate between printer agents and the physical printer.
