Lirc# is a .NET/Mono wrapper binding to LIRC.

LIRC is a package that allows you to decode and send infra-red (IR) signals of many (but not all) commonly used remote controls.

Lirc# lets .NET/Mono programs have the ability to interact with infra-red devices, like TV remote controls.
