LAN Test Tools

LAN Test Tools for NetWare® (ODI/CIOS) - version 1.42 - will help you verify that your drivers and adapters will function correctly and efficiently with Novell products. These automated tests also verify compatibility with Novell ODI/CIOS driver development specifications and provide some stress-testing in the NetWare environment.

LAN Test Tools for SUSE(TM) Linux version 1.11 - will help you verify that your LAN adapters and associated drivers are compatible with SUSE Linux.

The NetWare kit contains the tools needed to qualify your driver for the Novell Yes Certified program. The Linux kit provides testing for your driver, however LAN components for Linux are not currently certified.

Products.txt Update: To update your testing environment with the latest Products.txt file, download and extract products.zip to your TestConsole data directory (for example, /opt/novell/NovellTestKits/TestConsole/data). Or download and run products.exe from the root of your drive where TestConsole was installed (for example, C:\).

  • TCLink for Linux v1.00.021 or later (which is included in the novell-lantest-1.xx-1linux.tar.gz file).
  • TestConsole for SUSE LINUX (installed on one Linux machine).
