Creating RPM packages can be a tedious and complicated process. krpmbuilder tries to simplify the process via a wizard which walks the user through the creation of an RPM spec file. When the required information has been entered the user can build, within krpmbuilder, the RPM given the newly created spec file.
Most spec files generated by krpmbuilder will need some âtweakingâ?. But krpmbuilder goes a long way in creating spec files with the essential tags that can save a user some time and effort.
