"Gas and Oil" is a complete redesign of the Midgard Application Server's core. It consists of "Gas", the "Generous Application Server" - a generic storage for any kind of objects - and "Oil", the "Object Interconnection Library" - which is the public interface to "Gas". Bindings to several web servers and scripting languages are planned.
