File System Services (64-Bit) - code-named zAPIs - supports a 64-bit inferface to the Novell® Storage Services file system and allows users to use and access files larger than 4 gigabytes. It requires Unicode(*) (and UTF-8 encoding) for file names. NetWare® evaluation software is available from the NetWare product site. |

[edit] DependenciesFile System Services (64-Bit)File System Services (64-Bit) requires the following:
To use the Z APIS that are included in File System Services for NetWare, reference the comn.nlm file in your makefile. The Z APIs are also available in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 10 and later versions, but you need to manually include them when you install SLES. In YaST, make sure you install the Novell-zapi-devel package. The libraries are included in the libzapi.a file that is included with Novell Storage Services (NSS). |
This component is peer supported by the Novell developer community.
