Developing YaST Modules

YaST is a utility program for installing, configuring and administrating SUSE Linux. It is extensible which means anyone can develop their YaST module to configure and administer different hardware and software. YaST modules are usually written in a YaST specific language called YaST Control Language (YCP).

Prototyping your applications using Xen

Xen is a virtual machine monitor which comes with SLES10. The software runs on a host operating system and allows to run several guest operating systems on the same computer hardware at the same time.

Open Letter to the Community from Novell

On November 2, Novell and Microsoft announced a significant, multi-part agreement to work together to improve the interoperability between Linux and Windows and for Microsoft to redistribute more than 350,000 subscriptions for SUSE Linux Enterprise to the Windows customer base over a five-year period.
