As part of the initiative and underpinning its commitment to provide world-class development, support and consulting services to partners, Novell Porting and Migration Centers (PMC) have been established to provide dedicated lab facility to help development partners make the move to SUSE LINUX. In addition to the PMCs a variety of online articles, tutorials and instructor-led training courses provide software and hardware developers resources to ease their transition.
In order to take advantage of the PMCs your organization is required to be a memeber of Novell's PartnerNet for Technology Partners. Please visit the PartnerNet for Technology Partners website for up-to-date details on the membership level required to qualify for PMC access. Access to the PMCs is just one of the many benefits that membership in PartnerNet for Technology Partners will afford. Please contact your Partner Enablement Manager with date and time you'd like to schedule and we will contact you with information to confirm your reservation.
Novell now provides convenient lab facilities, engineering assistance and related resources for porting and migrating your strategic products to SUSE LINUX. Partners and developers creating Linux software solutions can choose to visit a PMC and work one-on-one with our senior Novell engineers to ensure rapid project completion. Alternatively, they can now test their applications on top of integrated software stacks remotely and validate that they run properly.
Porting and Migration Centers are located in the US (Provo, UT) and Germany (Frankfurt and Nuernberg) in Europe. Each location has a number of rooms filled with a variety of computer equipment that can be custom configured and utilized to best satisfy your needs.
