Project bluesea purpose is to build a complete and ready to use J2EE stack based on standard j2ee open source technologies. This project is aimed at providing a robust and flexible J2EE framework to develop web based applications.

One of the main purpose of this project is to reduce the errors while developing the web applications using J2EE technologies. This project contains best solutions derived from real time projects at Novell.

This project provides

a) The core infrastructure on which J2EE applications run. b) Web MVC framework based on Struts and Spring Technologies. c) AOP support based on AspectJ and Spring AOP. d) JMS support based on OpenJMS. d) Robust Exception Handling framework. f) J2EE utilities like Pagination. g) Customised Apache Tomcat Container.

This project provides a complete J2EE stack and eliminates a need for any application server to run the J2EE applications. One of the main purpose of this project is to tightly integrate this framework with Novell products like IDM and Director.

This project will be evolving as per the changes in J2EE technology.
