Beans for Novell® Services provides an easy-to-use suite of Java components for rapid and effective development of network applications. There are a wide variety of beans to choose from.

Dependencies

For all Beans, the following are required:

• Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.1.7 or higher]
• JDK 1.2 Standard Edition or higher]

For Client-Based Beans, the following are required:

• Novell Client
• Classes for Java and JNDI Providers (NJCL)

For LDAP-Based Beans, LDAP Libraries for Java is required.

For Novell Nsure UDDI Command Beans, the following are required:

• activation.jar
• a JAXP compatible, namespace-aware XML parser (for example, xerces.jar)
• mail.jar
• soap.jar
• jdom.jar

For WebDAV Command Beans:

• WebDAV Client Libraries of Slide 1.0.16 is required

For SecretStore Command Beans, the following are required:

• Novell SecretStore Developer Kit for Java
• Beans, LDAP Command

The software installation requires a 32-bit operating system that supports Windows 95* compatible long file names.
