BeanValidator is a JavaBean object validation suite that provides the ability to declaritively define bean validators and property rules via an XML configuration file. BeanValidator is context-independent, and can be used in any application environment where JavaBean object are employed.

BeanValidator uses reflection to introspect and validate the values of properties for which rules have been defined.
