course overview request training
Novell Nsure solution is a flexible, modular approach to Secure Identity Management (SIM), which allows you to place a robust identity and access management foundation at the heart of an IT infrastructure. This foundation unifies identity information and policies across all the different systems, safeguards resources from intruders, and controls access to information, resources and processes based on defined user relationships.

Through this course, you’ll learn to combine the Nsure components to build secure Web applications and Services in a corporate environment. Some of the specific skills this course will focus on include:

  • Installing and customizing Nsure components (Novell eDirectory, Identity Manager 2, iChain and exteNd)
  • Setting up IDM2 and use it to connect to other applications on the backend
  • Using exteNd Director to aggregate different applications and services as a single point of access for the users.
  • Creating cross-domain single sign-on applications using SAML
  • Developing dynamic Web pages using servlets, JSP and PHP
