Network and collaboration services will always play an indispensable role in your business. But many of those services don't work well in today's open, mixed technology environments. They're outdated, inflexible, and difficult to use. And most of them are still tied to a single platform. Novell Cross-Platform applications let you develop more effective, innovative services with a more open approach to network and collaboration services- including file, print, messaging, calendaring, workspace, address book, and many others.

start with the right products
NetMail
Novell NetMail is a scalable, high-performance e-mail and calendaring system that is based on Internet-standard messaging and security protocols. Existing SDK components includes the Networked Messaging Application Protocol (NMAP) an ASCII RFC-style protocol. NMAP provides full control over the NetMail queuing system and full access to the message store. The SDK also includes ModWeb documentation. ModWeb is a template-based, self-contained Web engine that eliminates the need for JVMs, servlet gateways, and CGI scripts in an HTML environment. Develop to NetMail (Leading Edge #162)
iPrint
Based on Novell Distributed Print Services (NDPS), iPrint allows administrators to take advantage of built in printer intelligence, and reduces the hassles of network printing for end users. Develop to iPrint
