What is DirXML?
DirXML is a bi-directional data sharing service that leverages Novell eDirectory to distribute new and updated information across directories, databases, and critical applications on the network and across firewalls.
DirXML:
- Provides flexible synchronization between disparate systems so that all enterprise data can be kept up-to-date with minimal maintenance costs.
- Brings the directory to the application so applications don't have to change.
- Enables data sharing through the directory by transforming data to or from the applications native format and storing common data in the directory.
- Works with eDirectory which is the core repository for the common data.
