eBook FAQs

Q. What does the "real-time" concept behind this book mean?
A. "Real-time publishing" is the concept of posting a book as chapters/volumes are written, rather than waiting until the publication is completed and printed. There are many benefits to this approach, especially for the IT industry. In the IT world, information changes so quickly that by the time they hit the street, printed materials are often outdated or require supplements. The "real-time" concept allows administrators to receive information as it's developed, so that it is relevant to today's environments.

Q. How do I access the chapters/volumes?
A. Each chapter/volume will be available as an Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) file that you can download and print. The first time you select a chapter to read or download, you will be prompted to complete a registration form creating a Novell Account. After that you will be able to download chapters using your Novell Account user name and password.

Q. Where can I learn more about creating a Novell Account and how I can recover my user name and/or password if I forget it?
