A Novell Authorized Testing Center (NATC) is a testing facility run by independent companies who who been trained and authorized by Novell to perform YES CERTIFIED testing. NATCs provide the convenience of having the testing facilities, test kits, and training needed to perform the YES certification process. Some NATCs have the added convenience of being able to offer custom development services to Partners whose products fail to meet the the rigorous YES certification requirements.
Silver and Ready Partners
Silver and Ready Partners can engage an NATC directly to conduct YES testing for hardware with SUSE Linux Enterprise and NetWare and for software applications on NetWare. Silver Partners can self test three software applications on SUSE Linux Enterprise. For subsequent software applications on SUSE Linux Enterprise, Silver Partners must engage with an NATC directly to conduct YES tests on their behalf.
Gold and Platinum Partners
Gold and Platinum Partners can be trained and authorized to self test for YES certification. However, Gold and Platinum Partners may utilize the convenience of an NATC should they choose to outsource testing.
